  1. The Protected sounds like one of those really heartbreaking contemp books. Razorhurst does sound really good and unique too. I love that they sent Apple & Rain with tissues. I love sad books! I really like the Vikki Wakefield covers.

  4. The Protected sounds and looks really good. I'll have to look into this author's works. She sounds good! Razor Hurst looks pretty cool. I've heard Justine is a great author and I'm sad that I haven't yet picked her up. I want to read Apple & Rain so bad just because of that gorgeous cover. Haha what an interesting gift to send along with the ARC. Flirty Dancing does look fun! I've wanted to read Vikki Wakefield for so long. A lot of my friends are huge fans of her works and I need to read them. I loved Shadows. I need to read Haze. I'll probably buy Haze and Shimmer at the same time so I don't have to wait. TFiOS is amazing and I hope you enjoy it!

  10. I absolutely LOVE Haze and am so excited for Shimmer's release in a matter of weeks now. I've seen Zorn on your blog before, though I forget the exact book title, but Justine is an author whose work gets published in the US too and I've enjoyed her Magic is Madness trilogy in the past, so I'm curious to see what you make of her latest. Lovely haul, Mandee, and happy reading! :D

  19. I agree, the cover of Apple and Rain is so beautiful. I enjoyed The Weight of Water and was hoping this one would be in verse too, I'm sad to hear it's not. Sounds like you have a great week of bookish events planned. Enjoy The Fault in Our Stars and dinner with Amie Kaufman! =)

  23. I always joke in my reviews that so-and-so should have come with a box of tissues. I'm DYING over the packaging for Apple and Rain!

  24. Hmm, that Razorhurst looks interesting! I also got a copy of Haze at BEA, but as it is part 2, and I haven't read part 1, I put it up on YA Book Exchange. Great haul! Thanks so much for visiting my post earlier!
