  10. Awesome haul this week Mands, I've been dying to read Love Letters to the Dead, pun not intended. Applied on Netgalley ages ago, but got knocked back *shakes fist*. Can't wait to see what you think of it. I was lucky enough to nab a copy of Year of the Rat too, haven't heard much about it, but looking forward to getting stuck into it soon. Those will be some impressive looking nails with this lot.

    Happy reading hun :)

  12. I have Goddess too! I freaked out when I got it because I couldn't remember requesting it (it's not really my typical read) buuu, I've seen it around a few Aussie blogs now, so it's not my memory going bung, it was unsolicited?? Good. I was worried about my swiss cheese brain. ;) Btw, I love looking at your bookshelf in the background! I'm recognising a few titles there...ehhe.

  16. Mandee, I hope you enjoy Divergent! I've been hearing raging reviews about the adaptation, so it seems to be extremely good. I'm planning to see it later this week, despite the fact that it's been awhile since I read the book and I don't even think I'll be reading the last book, but Theo James and Shailene are just such fantastic actors that I can't resist! ;)

Your haul this week looks fabulous and I know a lot of readers have really enjoyed Love Letters to the Dead, though it seems to be a little too heavy for my tastes. I've also heard surprisingly positive reviews about The Break-Up Artist. It hasn't received too much publicity, but whatever I have heard of it seems to be really good so I'm curious to see how your thoughts compare. Happy Reading, Mandee! :)

  23. I really enjoyed Love Letters to the Dead, it was very emotional! I didn't even consider that they may have timed the release with the anniversary of his death, but it really seems that way. I hope you had fun at Divergent! I had a fun time seeing it and swooning over Theo James. :-)

  26. I'm supposed to be reading a yellow book for book club this month (We're meant to meet this week so clearly that's not going to happen, nor has the actual reading of the yellow book but some of these books would clearly have come in handy.

Popular sounds fun, I'm a wee bit obsessed with 50's and 60's mostly because I think those dresses look awesome.
