Mish Mash Challenge: faux stone

This week the theme of the Mish Mash Challenge is faux stone. I was going to attempt a water spotted manicure but it looked like just as much work as a water marble, so I went with an easier option!

I used rhodonite for my inspiration and started with 2 coats of Mode Cosmetics Fresh Melon.

I followed up by sponging on Zoya Dove and over that I sponged Butter London Bossy Boots. Finally I sponged on Ulta3 Black Satin.

And here's a shot with the rhodonite crystal I have

Have a great week, everyone :)

  4. I really love how you captured the rhodonite - it's not a rock/mineral that would have immediately come to my mind, but it's a beauty! :)
